INTRODUCE

Yugong Yishan – "The Foolish Old Man Who Moved Mountains." Long ago, an old man set out to move a mountain. People laughed at him, but his stubborn drops of sweat eventually moved heaven itself. Now, in 2025 Seoul, another stubborn and magnificent attempt begins. In front of us lies the massive Ilgamho (Ilgam Lake). We don’t call it merely a "lake". For us, it’s a void that consumes our time and a land of opportunity that must be filled. People ask: Why scoop dirt with spoons, wine glasses, or perfectly good phones? This isn’t just labor. It’s the process of moving the mere dirt beneath our feet, transforming it into the solid ground our fellow students will eventually walk on – a physical transfer of "value". It doesn’t matter whether what we hold is a spoon, a dustpan, or a smartphone. They are tools that carry soil – and noble vessels that carry this value. From where to where will we move it? This is the most profound and grand project of transforming meaninglessness into meaning. 21st-century Yugong Yishan: [Filling the Konkuk Lake]. Now, we pick up the very first tool that will change history.
